Lost Child Policy
Procedure - in the unlikely event of your child becoming lost
The following step-by-step procedures will be followed:
On the Premises
Search the premises and garden.
Inform you and the police.
Inform Ofsted.
Outings and Visits
Search the visited area.
Notify appropriate officials of the visited area.
Inform you and the police.
Inform Ofsted.
Uncollected Child Policy
Procedure - failure to collect child/ren by agreed time.
If your child is not collected at the agreed time the following procedures will be followed;
I will establish contact with you and other named persons on your child’s Child Record Form via the emergency numbers given.
If there is no response, I will wait 1 hour and then contact the local Social Services team to inform and seek advice (as advised by Ofsted).
Allowances will be made for bad weather or other unforeseeable occurrences. In the event that you know you are running late please phone me to let me know.
Re-current lateness will be treated as a breach of contract.
