I encourage children to be confident, independent and develop their own self-esteem. I organise activities to support the children's play and learning and to use their imagination, develop their language and mathematical thinking. I attend toddler groups where children can interact with other children of a similar age group.
My setting has a large conservatory dedicated solely to childminding which opens out onto a large secure garden with a Wendy house and a climbing frame with slide. We have a sandpit and water play facility and various trikes and cars. We have a quiet room where
the children can rest and a large
selection of educational and multi-
cultural toys to suit all age ranges.
We also visit the local playground and
park weather permitting.
Arrangements are made for quiet rest times or sleep for younger children.
