Outings And Visits Policy
Prior to the start of the arrangement, you will be given a Parental Permission Form to sign. The form asks your permission for me to take your child on educational and fun visits to the park and surrounding areas, or to toddler groups.
You will be informed about trips that involve travelling by transport.
I am fully insured to drive your child.
I will provide a suitable car seat for your child.
Your child will have appropriate use of the harnesses and maximum seating will never be exceeded. A mobile telephone and first aid kit is carried for emergencies only. Essential toiletries and drinks will also be taken.
Additional costs for visits and outings will be agreed prior to the visit.
Parental concerns will always be taken into consideration when trips are planned.
Outing behaviour and safety will be discussed with all children in an age stage appropriate way. All children will wear a paper bracelet (or tag) with my contact details on in case of emergency.
In the unlikely event of your child becoming lost then the police would be immediately informed and then you will be notified.
In the event of a serious medical emergency, the emergency services, then you and then the child's doctor are immediately contacted and I will administer first aid while awaiting an ambulance.
