The Childminder follows Haringey’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
I aim to ensure equal access to my childcare setting, providing a service in a manner that is sensitive to the individual’s need. I welcome children with special educational needs and will work in partnership with Parent/Carers and other agencies. This enables me to gain advice and expertise when necessary to help me provide the best opportunities for every child in my care.
The children learn through play and I aim to:
• Develop every child according to their individual needs.
• Promote positive images.
• Value and celebrate various cultural, ethnic and family backgrounds.
• Enable children to explore their identity, develop a sense of self esteem, learn to respect and value each other as individuals and recognise and celebrate their individual achievement.
I ensure that all children have access to the full range of activities.
I aim to reflect the diversity of the local community and I will be taking part in ongoing training to ensure continuous personal and professional development.
