I am aware of the need to maintain privacy and confidentiality. I always write in a diary about your child's day (which you take home) and discuss with you any issues or concerns.  

Confidentiality Policy

I will respect confidentiality in the following ways:

You will have ready access to the files and records of your own child but will not have access to information about any other child.

• I will not discuss individual children with people other than with the parents/guardians.

• In cases of child protection, details of your child may be shared with the relevant agencies and I  will follow the recognised National guidelines (guideline details available)

• Information given by you will not be passed onto other adults or companies without permission from you.

• All procedures and record keeping will comply with current Data Protection Legislation.



Photographs of your child or your child's work will not be used without written parental consent.
